Rita Payne, MD attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and did her obstetrical/gynecological residency at West Virginia University.  She is a member of The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy, and The North American Menopause Society.  Dr. Payne is on the staff of OB/Gyn at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  She is a native Texan, has three children, and is married to Dr. Scott Pollard.  She has practiced in Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming, as well as doing work overseas.
